I can make an argument that Auburn will have the best offense in the SEC this upcoming season, yet again. Our depth is what stands out about our offense this year, especially with the RBs, WRs and OL. Also, with the addition of Lindsey at OC and Stidham at QB, this offense will be much more lethal in the passing game than in recent past.

This is my best guess at the moment, of what our depth chart looks like. All of our positions are set except who will start along the OL, which will be the most fiercest battle of fall camp for playing time.

QB- Stidham,White,Willis
RB- Pettway/KJ,Martin/Miller
HB- Cox,Harris
TE- Harris,Canella
LT- James/Golson/Tega
LG- Bell/Golson/Horton
C- Golson/Dunn
RG- Smith/Bell/Horton
RT- James/Smith/Ashley
WR- KD,McClain
WR- Slayton,R.Davis
WR- NCM,J.Smith
Slot- Hastings/Stove,JF3

What does your offensive depth look like and how good do you think they will be in the SEC?

You guys were 5th in Total Off last year and 5th in PPG.

Honestly should be Bama if Hurts can throw at least average. I embarrassed at the amount of elite talent we have on offense. Guys like Emmons have to be processed because of a sick stable of backs with 3 5 stars. It's stacked. ..

Definitely Auburn! Stidham will make cam and Peyton look like they played in mighty mights. Pettway will be a heisman finalist and have AT LEAST 1600 yards on the season. Auburn D will be the best the SEC has seen yet with the average opponents PPG vs auburn being 9.5.

Am I doing this right?

Yet again? Has Auburn led the league in yards or points per game since 2010?

We were #1 in Tot Off and PPG last year.

Have to replace 2 OL, 1 REC, 1 TE and PK.

Last year.. I didn't say last year, I said yet again, because a Malzahn coached Auburn team has led the SEC in total offense before. It's not a difficult concept

No doubt Bama is stacked, especially at RB.

Not at all. I wanted you to make an argument for your team but.. carry on. When is the last time UGA led the SEC in total offense? I'll wait..

What about total offense? Does that count?

I wouldn't consider total yards to be a leading indicator of "best offense" which is the term you used.

Yards/game and points/game are the two non-advanced stats that are usually the benchmarks. Total yards is skewed by differences in number of games played.
