It will HAVE to be a QB. Danielson was a QB, so the entire fricking football world revolves around that position according to him, and Verne has no freaking idea what is going on half the time, so he doesn't give a shite.

I'm not counting Brandon Mitchell out for the starting job, but I think he's going to have to really impress Petrino to get the nod over Wilson.
If Mitchell does come in for a limited role, he would likely be running the pistol option package, along with some passing plays. Mitchell is a QB who is an athlete, not an athlete playing QB.

Verne actually did an okay job in the LSU-Bama game last year.
