I'm giving it to Jovon right now. Bo needs to prove himself, no free passes my boy.

Maybe but KJ looks to fit the role of Gus' second back well enough to get his share of carries. Plus Gus likes to split carries even if there seems to be a drop off in production. Tre Mason is about the only exception at the end of 2013 and even then Marshall was splitting them.

Last year when Kerryon was an underweight true freshman. Kerryon is up to 211 though and will get plenty of carries this year.

Kerryon is a great RB, he was a top 50 recruit for a reason. But Kerryon is a utility type player with great hands and can be used all over the field, while Jovon is a traditional pure RB. For that reason they won't split as many carries as we usually would between #1 and #2.

We also have Kam Martin. True freshman who signed with Baylor but because Art Briles got fired he'll be eligible to play this year and will get some carries.

I'm going with Jovon because he has skills like Bo but seems very intelligent. I've heard Bo Scarb in interviews and he appears to be dumb as a rock. I know you don't have to be a genius to carry the pigskin but it helps if can understand the playbook.

I like both, but I think Bo will do better.

Similar running style to Henry, but better feet and vision if you ask me. Like most tall, big backs, if you get to him near the line of scrimmage he will go down.

If you don't touch him before the line, most likely 8-15 yards per. The year of the RB.

Dont forget about Cam Pettway. Kid is going to get some carries this year and depending on how successful he is, may split carries with JR as our power back

It will be hard for Bo to play with Damien Harris starting.

That is highly unlikely to happen. There will have to be injuries at the position.

You've already changed your story. First he was going to possibly split carries with Jovon Robinson (not even close) and now he is only going to get carries. Which is it?

He might carry the ball some in mop up duty, but he won't be counted on as a workhorse in the backfield unless he's blocking...or if there are some serious injuries. You're looking way too far into his limited carries from spring.

I'd just like to see a traditional fullback at Alabama again. We've gone the walkon route at that position since Saban arrived. Only Jalston Fowler was a scholarshipped fullback. Man, I miss seeing him play.

Did you even read my fricking post or do you just see what you want to see? I say MAY split carries depending on how successful he does. If Pettway steps in and starts balling out, frick yeah he will split carries.

Got damn baw, everybody knows that

fricking this. Also, for a few fricking drives a game, I would love to see Alabama utilize all those 4 and 5 stars offensive lineman and line up in the jumbo package like Stanford.

Except we can't call it that. It gives flashbacks to the Shula era.

Nysewander is at FB now, right? He's only a walk on because he played defense in HS. He'll be a great FB for y'all. Good kid too, I'm a fan of his.

Regarding Pettway for Auburn, TTs is right he'll only get significant carries if Jovon is injured. He'll get mop up and cupcake carries though. He might be a FB, but he reminds me of Mike Alstott running the ball: LINK

Turned out to be great. But still a walkon. I am talking more of a traditional I-formation more often. We use more H-back out of the I.

Brandon Moore and Derrick Gore are the only two on the roster than really fit the role of a fullback this season, correct?
