I'll go with Raph Rhymes, 11 doubles, 4 home runs, 53 RBI's and 44 runs last season.

2012 First-Team All-American (Collegiate Baseball, ABCA, NCBWA)
2012 Third-Team All-American (Baseball America)
2012 Dick Howser Award Finalist
2012 SEC Player of the Year
2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll
2012 ABCA First-Team All-South Region
2012 Louisiana Hitter of the Year

Led the nation in hitting last year with a .431 average, becoming the first LSU player to lead the NCAA in batting average.

But I also have high hopes for incoming Freshman Alex Bregman, I think that he will contribute right away.

Rhymes as an answer doesn't make sense.

I think Clowney will be a breakout player for SC football this season, hasn't had much of an impact yet, but this is his year!

I dunno- we have so many to chose from. We'll field four or five first team all SEC players this season.

Speaking of Cal Ripken, he's a big Gamecock fan of course. Ryan is a Gamecock and could very well have a huge season.

I'm going out on a limb here. I think by SEC play that a local freshman could be starting in the OF. His name is Dorian Hairston and he is a machine. From what I understand he led the team in BA in the fall. Even if he doesn't break out this year, remember his name.
