One down season and everyone forgets we ran the East up until that point. Slobber all over Smart and show Odom no respect at all. It's expected but still funny

Laughable denial. Odom is simply a seat filler when literally no one wanted to take the job, your recruiting class was a disaster, your former team are a bunch of pussies, and your atheltic department is down 72% in donations. Y'all won't recover for a good decade.

What are we 6-1 against Ole Miss?

I think the Muschamp hire was beyond awful (as a Miami fan I think even Al Golden is a slightly less awful coach than Muschamp) and I'm not sure the Odom hire was that much less bad. Once of those 2 I think. Lean toward SCar since Spurrier is supposed to have done no recruiting whatsoever for his last 2 or 3 years and I'm sure the talent level's awful.

South Carolina. The will Muschamp effect should be great to watch.

i think just not hiring a coach may have been better than hiring will.

We'll be fine. Certainly not last.

That Odom hire was really random. Was he even that good of a coordinator- hadn't he only been at Mizzou for one year maybe 2? I don't think it's really mizzou's fault for the hire though- I'm sure they would have been able to attract far more attractive coaches if those coaches weren't afraid of Black Lies Matter potentially lynching them or running them off campus.

Another team that has never been to Atlanta propping up their division. Beautiful. It's always Ole Miss fans

I'd rather have that than for my school to be a total dumpster fire that is despised by the entire country and that you can't pay people to go to anymore.

Hold on to that stat, since that is all you have. I don't give a shite about games played 20 years before I was born.

Ole Miss hasn't beat Mizzou since 1974.

2006 loss to Mizzou 34-3
2007 loss to Mizzou 38-25
2013 loss to Mizzou 24-10

I'm assuming you are around 14-16 years old judging by your post content so do these games matter?

How was the hire random? He had proven himself as an elite defensive coordinator at two different spots. It can be argued that the job he did last year was the best in the country. Fielding that type of defense with a non existent offense is almost unheard of. It's laughable how people praise the Smart hire but then go on to say Odom was a poor hire. I understand why, I do. Most people don't know much about CFB outside of their team. That's ok, but that's what it is.

Odom will turn out to be a great hire for us. He's not a flashy, cliche machine like Butch Jones. That's not his thing. He's a X and O savant that has succeeded at EVERY coaching stop he's ever had. One of the best defensive minds in all of CFB. He's a tough, blue collared competitor that fits the fabric of MIssouri perfectly.

i think odom has an equal chance of being as good as smart does (who strangely has already been seemingly anointed as a great head coach yet has no experience).

It will be SJWU. They haven't even hired a head coach yet.
