I think Arky could be as high as a 3 if Qualls and Portis stay..... if either or both leave then we will be probably a bubble team at best. We have some good youngsters in the program but not enough proven scoring to make up for losing those two. Hopefully they stay and I think we make a deeper run (sweet 16 or better).
Kentucky will reload and be a contender again. LSU will be good but they are asking for greatness from true freshmen with a coach that doesn't exactly have a stellar rep for developing talent so I wouldn't pick them higher than a 5 right now, but that could change if the newbies are as good as advertised.
Florida and Georgia head up that second tier along with Ole Miss. Vandy is on the fringe of this group as is Tenner and Auburn.
Bama is a wait and see for me right now as is A&M. Aggies are talented but they wilted easily down the stretch and need to prove that they deserve to be mentioned among the elite before I put them there. Not real sold on their HC and his ability to lead.
SC- improved but not ready to make the jump.

Ummm, what? JJ has gotten the most of his biggest talents.
JOB III
Martin
Mickey
Quarterman
...
Every single one of those players improved under his watch.

So much ignorance in this entire thread, this being possibly the most laughable along with LSU as a 2 seed.

Bama
I can't see much chance of that

You don't need to learn his offense to know he is 0-2 in the NCAAT in 15 years as a Head Coach = bad coach
Yeah. I am sure that he is the only coach to lose his first two games in the NCAAT.

I couldn't begin to predict SEC tournament teams beyond Kentucky and maybe Florida.
That just means that you know very little about the SEC programs and college basketball in this day and age.

LSU 2 seed
Hey Thib, judging from the posting looks like your Troll was an A+, Amigo.
On a serious note I see the SEC seeding looking like; UK- 2 Seed
UF- 6 Seed
aTm- 6 Seed
Ark- 6 Seed
LSU- 7 Seed
Vandy-9 Seed
Aub/UGA- 11 Seed
Record year of tourney teams for the improving SEC.
