Florida had a lot of close losses this season. If Billy gets them to quit playing selfishly as he allluded to in several post game pressers, they'll be a pain in our arse again next year. As was said above, if Arkansas can retain Qualls and Portis they could be pretty nasty next year. I'd say we add two more titles before anyone else in the SEC gets one though.

Wow crazy question. The only team with the recruiting power, and coaching is Florida. LSU can get players but doesn't ever have enough depth, or x's and o's. Arkansas same thing.

Better re check and you will find that this year was a blip on the radar for Billy. Look at what we lost from last years team (four starters)...add injuries and suspensions.
We have the 7th ranked recruiting class coming in and our team will have a year under their belts...we had to nurse along a point guard. Expect much stronger team next year.

The reason I give LSU a chance next year is because of the GUARDS that return. I'm banking on the veteran leadership of Quarterman/Hornsby with Patterson/Gray and the youthful enthusiasm of Blakeney and MAYBE Newman. GUARD play wins in the NCAA tourney.
If LSU can get serviceable minutes from Robinson and Victor and Simmons lives up to the hype, LSU will have a luxury of guards, experienced and talented.

Florida or Auburn. I honestly believe Pearl and Donovan have higher basketball IQ's than Calipari, and that can lead to wins even over a superior roster.
