I mean, nothing is impossible, but it's not happening.

Ok bud. I agree that the odds aren't in our favor, but I doubt anyone would really be that surprised or care if it did happen. LSU fans are the only ones expecting special things out of LSU this year.

And OM fans are the only ones expecting above average things out of the Rebs this year.

State will finish 6-6. I think we will be a damn strong 6-6 team with a very high SOS.

I think we'll go 7-5 or 8-4, nothing too drastic. I just think LSU loses at least 3, maybe more.

Why would you not expect LSU to be good? We are returning our entire offense and a new offensive coordinator from the NFL. Sure we lost some guys on defense but we have depth, something teams like ole miss really lack

LSU was two plays away from losing five games this year, lost more underclassmen to the draft than any team in history, and that schedule! Plus, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Arky should all be improved...

I mean I'm not saying they're gonna blow or anything, I just think there will be a slight drop off from last year, and their schedule leaves no margin for error.

But maybe I'm the crazy one, its not like everyone else in the country is putting them in the 12-15 range preseason or anything.

I don't think that's too out there. It's reasonable to expect they won't be as good this year what with the mass exodus of key players, and then you look at how little room for error they had last year, not out of the realm of possibility.

What 2 plays could we have lost 2 more games?? Any game after Alabama is a bit irrelevant given the circumstances. If Alabama loses that game then it's really likely they lose 3 games. After your hopes are crushed in a defeat like the Bama game it's not easy to play for anything but the NC esp considering the goals we had. The ole miss game was close but if we beat Alabama then it's not close. Same goes with Arkansas. We should of beat SC by much more and made many mistakes in that game and still won and was never threatened by A&M in the second half. Florida was the low point of the year for our offense and if they did anything at all we would of won that game had it not been for a patch work o line. We lost 12 starters to injury and suspension, lost heisman trophy candidate d back, starting tackle, starting RB, starting LB, starting guard, and other key players and made a ton of mistakes in many games and still was a play away from the SECCG. We had a patch work offense line at one point with 6 starts combined and still beat SC. I think we will be fine this year and will contend for the west as usual. I don't read much into what the "experts" think bc according to them USC should of played in the NCG.

Basically my point is we lost a ton of starters as key players and made a ton of mistakes and still contended for the west

So I was wrong earlier. THIS is your new schtick.

Seriously though, how much can you post about LSU in one day?

Shall I do a post count?

We were one play away from Atlanta, and if we would've beat UGA, a NC. That post was dumb

About 95% of Tidesatchel's posts from the past few months have been about his opinion LSU will suck arse this year. Every opportunity he has to bring it up in a prediction thread, he will. It's definitely his new schtick.

LSU has to play A&M, Bama, Florida, and Georgia. At Ole Miss won't be easy either. Y'all could very easily go .500 in conference play.

More likely 3-1 or 2-2 against those four. Georgia and Al on the road are the only 2 we will be underdogs.
Florida and A&m will be close games but we should take care of both. Georgia/Alabama, it would be great to win one.

Yea, we were one play from going to the Sec championship and Bama were two plays away from 3 SEC losses.
