I think Lattimore could have a huge game Thursday night, also with the shootout that will be UT and N.C State Tyler Bray could put up big numbers. I don't think Bama will throw enough to get AJ in the running, but a healthy dose of Lacy could get him in contentions.

Lattimore goes wild on Vandy Thursday night - he gets the spotlight 'cause it's the season opener and shows out in front the nation.

UK DT Mister Cobble. When he wrecks #25 Louisville's offense on a way to a win.

Everyone is saying Lattimore.. Not so fast..

I think SC will try to throw the ball more. Lattimore coming off injury and the back up is not playing. May not see as many runs as SC normally would do.

Latt hasn't finished a season yet healthy..

Coming off a major injury without the back up.. SC would be done if Latt goes in, gets too many carries and gets hurt again.

It will probably be AJ if we win since we are actually playing a real opponent.

I just could see Vandy springing the upset and he would have to have a big game for them to do it.

Spurrier thinks USCe will have a lot of success throwing it this year; wouldn't be surprised to see them come out throwing in the first quarter. It'll give Lattimore and chance to ease back into things, too. I could see them scrapping those plans if the weather turns sour due to Issac or if they struggle in the first quarter to move the ball, but I think USCe tries to be a pass first team vs Vandy.

I'm going to say that Todd Gurley fricks up Buffalo's D for 155 yards and 3 TDs. He's my pick for player of the week.
