Jeff Scott. I think he'll do pretty well.

They will be running backward for the ball when Kayser punts.

Haven't seen the kid punt yet, but I'm hearing people throw out wild comparisons to The Man, Shane Lechler

Hope the kid delivers.

Les' plans of using a starter on special teams has resulted in 7 tds in 3 years. All from punt returns.

Patrick Peterson
Tyrann mathieu
Odell Beckham

I ain't mad. Ask the nfl what they think?

We use starters on special teams, too.

Last year:

Ben Malena on coverage units (starting RB)

Dustin Harris on punt returns (starting CB)

And are you confident that they will be productive?

2012?

As for our team, I'd like to see Hart or Cooper returning punts and maybe Bell or White returning kicks. There's no telling who will actually end up doing either because there are about 6 guys in the discussion.

ODB JR returned two punts for TDs and wing was great.

LSU was above average in a couple of categories and very average in the rest. Hardly "elite".

See for yourself.

Honey Badger single handedly turned around the arky and sec championship game. Peterson made an arse out of everyone he returned against and is still doing it in the pros. I'll stick with the plan

Right now the Vols have returning duties by committee.

Ultimately it looks like Devrin Young will return punts though.

FR Marquez North could get the nod for kick return.

I can't see us being overly productive in this area. Especially considering the drop off from last year that was Cordarelle Patterson

FR WR Laquivionte Gonzalez

Punts:

Only one other player had more TDs than odb jr and wing ranked 4th in punting. Odbjr was 5th in total returns of 20+yards
LSU was 4 th in punt def yards
Michael ford was #1 in KOs of 30+ yards.
YOU'RE STUPID.
This is elite.
