ETA: i see it won't actually be put on the building, but the morons who designed it thought it would be super cool, so the question halfway stands
Is that a joke? The guy was there for four years. Never won a natty, and isn't really known for having coached there. And wasn't part of the reason he left A&M's refusal to integrate? What exactly did he do at A&M to be worthy of permanent memorialization on your stadium?
He did far more at kentucky. Is it just me, or does this reek of desperately seeking SEC legitimacy?
Between this and your baseball stadium being named after a company that is apparently so bad at making ice cream that it kills people, the only "standard" i can see your school representing is that of perpetual inadequacy.

That is an early drawing & was nixed a long time ago. You'll see RC Slocum, Dana X Bible, and E King Gill on the other 3 "towers".

A&M has always been desperate to be a power program in football. Now they build a new stadium and everyone outside of A&M circles will be able to use that as a running joke for decades to come.
