The lack of anyone in place permanently to make the decision to fire him then to hire his replacement is a big factor. He's also coaching a team that lost 41-18 to Vanderbilt 4 years ago. They put up 35 this year while giving up 40+! Improvement! Bricks laid!

Seriously, what SEC teams need to do is decide on a coach, give them 4-6 years to build a solid program and stop chasing Saban.

Imo, stupid SEC firings: Fulmer, Tuberville, Richt, Miles.

We regressed the last several years under Miles and he was never going to change "his" offense. The travesty is that the search was a joke and LSU wound up with Ed O. The decline will continue. If we were going to fire Miles, we should have had a plan that didn't include settling for O.

Butch kept his job by beating FL, 8-4 with losses to UF/Bama in all 4 years of his tenure wouldn't have done it. He definitely deserves a ton of heat

Dude is an arse and perhaps ND needs to change, but I think he'd get a pass given ND was in a NY6 bowl a year ago.

Unless McElwain really shits the bed (I'm talking like 3-5 wins), he's there for another 2 years at least (Although I think they need to get better).

The rest, though, that's hot seat

The "12th Man" @ A&M...necessary to distinguish because the Seattle Seahawks own the 12th man now.

Our OLine coach ... the second highest paid OLine coach in the league and he gives us a consistently under achieving OLine ... plus he was the interim HC who lost to the Citadel.

Shawn Elliott should have been fired.

You're not the smartest if you don't get the Tuberville firing errr resignation.

Aggies don't fire coaches very readily, but when they do, it isn't a clusterfrick like LSU just went through.

That's because they always make sure they have a quality replacement lined up in advance.
