C. Because it usually elicits responses just like yours from tSECr posters.

All REAL rivalries are natural rivalries. It just develops for whatever reason and there is TRUE HATE ON BOTH SIDES THAT IS EQUAL. You can't stand them, They can't stand you, it means everything and is that way both ways. Gt- georgia, bama auburn, the egg bowl, aggie's-texas. During the 80s the press tried to make our game with penn state a rivalry. Just wasn't there.

Bamas natural rival is Auburn. A rivalry developed with Tennessee because they were actually close to us and would beat us time to time. We started to feel they were right on our heels and we prided ourselves as the team in the south not to overtaken by the vols. We opened up that gap in the 70s. We vacation in the smokies, lots of vols in alabama, border states. Auburn is instate, family members are fans of the other school, u see aubies every single day and have to converse with them. No way that was gonna miss rivalry status.

LSU-Ole Miss is one of the nations best interstate rivalries. I did not realize before today though how little LSU has actually played in Oxford. Oxford has hosted LSU only 18 times out of 104 meetings. That's pretty crazy for such an old rivalry(first played in 1894)

How is it possible to know so little about college football, yet feel compelled to post about it in an online forum?

Yes, Alabama and Tennessee have established a rivalry, albeit a waning one due to Tennessee's craptastic performance over the last decade or so. But.. Really? You're placing that over the Iron Bowl?

I just judged you.

Tulane. I wish they were good in football, it really could be a heated rivalry

You rather have a heated rivalry with Tulane than be competitive in the SEC?

That's ok, do not give a frick about them either. At least we are not afraid to play them, I think they still owe us a game from when they backed out of our home and home.

Enjoy playing any of the old swc teams but happy in the sec.

Auburn fans hate the fact the Bama fans look down at them, and would prefer a stronger UT to get things kicked back up. As UT/bama is the SEC anchor rivalry.

This is like UTX caring more about the OU rivalry than the in-state aggie one.

I bet that cared when we were curbstomping them in that Texas Bowl 59 yards of offense. That being said none of our "natural rivals" even cares about us in the slightest. I'd like LSU to be a rivalry but they don't give a shite. Missouri doesn't give a shite. IDK what we have to do to have a rivalry.
