He's been fined and cleared as far as I know, quite honestly I'm not sure what his culpability was or even if he knew about it.
The scheme was to skim rebates that more unsophisticated trucking companies wouldn't know about or push for. Still unknown exactly how far up the scheme went.

To my knowledge, LSU doesn't have a "clear-cut" famed donor that rises above the others (e.g. Boone Pickens).
However, we have a multitude of donors that are very generous though

Gatton does a lot with the academic side of things. I'd think Joe Craft (for you non-Kentuckians, think coal) might be a bigger athletics donor.
