I would assume for LSU it is Jamarcus Russell and for Bama it is Trent Richardson.

David LaFleur would have to be number 2 on the LSU list, considering where he was drafted.

I guess Troy Williamson.

Drafted #7 overall by the Vikings in 2005. Was off the Vikings by 2008 and out of the league by 2009. Finished with 4 TDs total.

ETA: that was also the pick the Vikings got from Oakland for trading Moss so that makes it even worse.

I’m surprised you think that — he was an absolute killer in the NFL.

That's the standard answer for Auburn, and while he didn't live up to #1 potential, he still played 10 years in the NFL.

Hernandez was definitely not a bust. He just killed a few people.

That being said, for State, I’d say recently it has to be Johnthan Banks.

Round 1 pick 22

Stats

JR is no doubt the biggest NFL bust from LSU but I think David LaFleur is on that list.

Greg Robinson (Second overall pick 2014).

On February 18, 2020, Robinson was jailed in El Paso County, Texas for possession of 156.9 pounds of marijuana.

Banks or Derek Sherrod. Sherrod was a 1st round pick and was out of the league in 4 years.
