He might not have as great of speed, but he is 6'4-6'5 and around 230-240. He's a big kid.

Why was Cam good? His running threat combined with size.

Like I said, gonna be a bang up DE.

You don't have to have great speed to be a running threat. I doubt we will even use him the same way since we have a new offense. He will be able to extend plays ala Big Ben from the Steelers and that'll be just fine by me. Also, it is kind of stupid to go ahead a wrote him off as being a QB based on a couple things that happened in high school.

I saw Greg McElroy and AJ McCarron extend a few plays with their feet...but to be a true "running threat" great speed is helpful. Ask JJ.

I bet Loef will go a different direction...

Pump the brakes. I'm crazy for saying he won't be a great contributor...but you're not for saying he will be Big Ben'ish?

I think he is going to be a head case. You don't. We'll agree to disagree.

Saban has said many times that his defense is very hard for players to learn in the first year, especially guys in the secondary. The ones that have been there for a while will always have an advantage with experience in his complicated schemes.

JJ wasn't that great of a running threat.

Loef may go in another direction, but that'll only be because he gets his own QB in after Frazier leaves.

He's built just like Ben. Similar size, similar speed, similar attributes. I'm not saying he will be as good. And you didn't say he wouldn't be a great contributer, you said he'd switch positions.

I've already stated many times that I think he is a headache. You weren't around because you ducked out after losing to LSU first time around.

The reason Miles gave for him being in the game.

Pike will be left holding the bag.

Hopefully, less "rapey".

Big kid who isn't going to get any snaps...so, you don't think Mean Gene would approach him about contributing elsewhere?

Fantastic. We agree on something.

I took a sabbatical because I didn't want to post on here with emotion driving my posting rather than logic or reason. A time or two, you would have been well served to do the same thing...

Milliner started as a true freshman in 2010 but we were grossly undermanned at that position. I don't see any way Collins comes in & jumps Clinton-Dix or Sunseri for the starting spot, but he'll see plenty of PT.

What a great call that was.

Yet to be seen.

Nope, I don't see many Army AA QBs change positions.

I took it like a fan, ate my crow, and sucked it up. I expected what was going to happen this year and didn't flip out because we kept losing. It was expected. I questioned coaching decisions, but I didn't bash other posters from said fanbases because we win/lost/etc.

I agree with the corners but I'll be shocked if Collins starts ahead of Haha or if Nick Perry gets more playing time in sub-packages than Vinnie Sunseri. Saban always tries to go with the more experienced player unless the younger guy is significantly better. Remember Marcell Dareus didn't even start for most of the games in 2009. He was behind Deaderick and Washington on the depth chart even though the amount of snaps he received was about the amount you would expect from a starter. There's no way a player as talented as Haha will be a backup to a true freshman.

You guys are forgetting the two JUCO db's as they will see plenty of PT. NS does not bring in JUCO's if he does not see them contributing early and often. There were plenty of games this year that J. Williams and Perry did not play unless it was garbage time

I said I agreed with the corners. It's pretty apparent that Dixon will start and Belue will be the nickel back.
