How in frick are people saying fournette? There's been a ton of rb's that have had much better rookie seasons than him.
Answer is Nick Chubb.
fricking LSU people drinking the dumb dumb coolaid again.

I bet Justin Evans has a better year than Jamal Adams.
The Juco transfer?

the offense he will be running, I don't think anyone will be surprised if he puts up Heisman-like numbers.
So is Auburn the new Texas Tech/Hawaii, where their QB's always put up ridiculous numbers because of the system?
There hasn't been a year that a QB in Malzahn's offense hasn't produced good to great numbers. Add in an extremely talented one, and you get Heisman opportunities.
I know you're trolling, but who would you put ahead of Jeremy Johnson at QB in the SEC this coming year? Will Prescott put up better numbers? Many will put him ahead only because of experience...Mauk? Dobbs?

Jamal Adams is great, but he's getting over hyped. He's like a poor mans Landon Collins at this point.

I'm not trolling at all. The QB's in those systems also put up ridiculous numbers just like I'm sure Johnson will in Malzahn's system.
My point is that putting up the biggest numbers doesn't make you the best player.

Yeah. It's all just speculation obviously, and won't be known until he steps out there on Saturdays. But, coaches typically avoid talking about specific players (especially new ones) in the spring. Yet, Sumlin, Chavis, and even the other DB players have consistently mentioned him as a "surprise player" and one who has exceeded all expectations. We shall see.

Charles Nelson will leave Oregon all conference in special teams, on offense and defense.

Yeah he was a factor in the Miss State win. Pinned them between the 20 I believe 2-3 times. Every time he punted in that game, the crowd got wild and gave the defense momentum.

Adams' number his freshman year are very similar to Collins' his sophomore. Generally, the largest jump in physical abilities is between the freshman and sophomore years, and the largest jump in mental awareness is between the sophomore and junior years.
If that holds true with Adams, he will be the best safety in the country as a junior.

On a topic like this, you have to think like if you had 11 of a certain player. What would a team of that player be like? Obviously you have to think beyond just size cuz it's hypothetical. But A team of 11 Daks or 11 Treadwells. You have to go more than just pure athletic skill. You look at football IQ. Drive to win. Heart and guts. Those players could be good at any spot. 11 Daks would be your absolute nightmare.

Actually, I think for Auburn I would pick Lawson. I think his coming back (if completely healthy) will make a HUGE impact on your defense.

I'd take Vernon Hargreaves, Laremy Tunsil, or A'Shawn Robinson. I would pass on Robert Nkemdiche, Laquon Treadwell, Duke Williams, and yes, even Leonard Fournette (throw Chubb in there, too).

Good thing we're talking about his upcoming sophomore campaign, then.

Same with Georgia...with everyone looking at Chubb, Leonard Floyd may end up being the best overall player. Kid is a beast and still has a ton of upside potential

Are we talking best in regards to will be the best pro or best in college?
OSU has an OLB Darron Lee who is one of the few who is big enough to play LB and fast enough to cover in space like a good safety. Personally I think he may be the best player on OSU's defense, Bosa included.
Bosa is a top 5 pick likely though

God yes, you'd get murdered on the line and lack a deep play threat. If they played defense the other team would put up a ton of yards on you to boot. It would be a nightmare of a season to watch.
