Texas holds the record for most college World Series wins, most college World Series appearances, and most wins amongst division 1 programs, and highest winning percentage.

Rice is definitely the most respected because of how they do it. They have to be the only school with a larger baseball stadium capacity than undergrads

Like 75-80% of their team comes from a 30 mile radius around Houston

Honestly didn't realize Texas had that resume Pretty impressive, but those damn Owls are always in the mix this time of year, kinda like those pesky Anteaters, small schools with well respected programs

Their baseball resume--historically-- is impressive.
But they've struggled mightily as of late.
The program is at a crossroads.
Will be interesting to see what their new clown AD decides to do.

Not at all. I'm an honest college baseball fan though. Texas baseball is probably the best program in history.

They should let UT-A&M play at minute maid, would make a lot of money.

We both play in the Minute Maid classic but we are alternating years right now because of the current situation

Wish Arkansas can head down there again soon. It's usually a good early season round robin.

We ended up playing Texas and Texas Tech in our last trip.
I'd much rather us play in Houston than heading out West for a road trip.

Sorry, no.

I'm passionate about college baseball.

USC has the most titles. Texas has the most appearances. Miami is 2nd behind Texas with 23 CWS appearances, then Arizona State at 22. Florida State has the most CWS appearances without a title, mat 21.

Does this make me a Horns, Trojan, Sun Devil, Hurricane, Seminole fan also?

It's a great event. They should do more of them in some of the nice minor league parks in the southeast like Memphis.

Thing is, a lot of the parks here in the south can hold just as many fans.

I agree with Memphis, but I've longed for the SEC tourney to be moved there.

Putting a preseason round robin there anchored with OM and MSU or Arkansas and attracting a good west coast team and a couple good northern schools like Indiana and Nebraska right now would probably sell it out and show the SEC the error of their ways
