and Dennis Johnson.

Why, IYO? He averages 7 YPC when he's healthy, and is the best KO returner in the SEC. Also a very good receiver out of the backfield.

Link? I say you're full of shite. Noone expected them to step in and be as good as Cam. We expected Trotter to be a better passer, but it's kind of hard to pass when the OLINE has been pure shite all season.

Ground breaking news right here, brah.

That wasn't based on anything you, or any other good hog fan, said on this board. It was based simply off of Choctaw Hog saying he is a top 3 SEC back and better than Mike Dyer.

Idk how I can explain, because he has been really good. I don't think he can change a game or make explosive plays against a good DB. Obviously you are gonna disagree, I shouldn't have brought him up. I don't think he can make big plays unless he gets behind the DB. And I think a good DB can take him out of the game more often than not.

well ya can't link shite from before the season because of this new fricked up search function. But Auburn fans were saying they wouldn't be that far off from offensive production from the Newton "era"

Message Posted by Teague I agree with Mathieu. He's good, but to hear people talk you'd think he was more than a short, mediocre coverage guy who Had a knack for coming up with turnovers.

Before the season, that wouldn't be very farfechted. I didn't think we'd be as good as we were when we had Cam, but I thought we'd be around as good as the 2009 offense. Last season we had a top 5 offense, and in 2009 we had a top 20 offense. We obviously struggled with everything on offense this season outside of RB and TE.

I love all the frickin haters in here dogging on LSU players because their teams suck dick. I don't think Ole Miss has one guy that starts for them that would start for LSU

He's top 7 for sure, he would be near 1,000 yards if healthy all year.

Richardson, Dyer, Stacy, Lattimore and Crowell are the only ones I would definitely take over him.

Like you said: Dyer, Lattimore, Richardson, Stacey, and Crowell, but you forgot Knile Davis

I think I'd take one more over him off the top of my head, Eddie Lacy.

If this thread was posted after the UT game, then sure, I can go with this. Since then, the hype has gone up in smoke as TM7's play has come back down out of the stratosphere. That being said, no one has had a better 6 game stretch than TM7 had to open the season, regardless of position.

Call me crazy but Dennis Johnson > Knile Davis considering what DJ adds in the return game.

I nominate Tyrann Mathieu.

Seriously? Tyrann is a BEAST. And he is the second best corner on the team. Teams refuse to throw to him.

People that know the game of football know that great defenses rarely has a player lead the nation in sacks and tackles because a great def will make the offense go 3 and out. Making only 3 downs to get defensive stats. Where as a bad defense might have 10 or more downs to rack up defensive stats.
