Obviously Maravich is in a league of his own. For recent players, I would probably take Mike Miller over anyone. He pretty much took Florida to the National Championship on his back. After him, I'd probably go Chandler Parsons, White Chocolate, and then the two white shooters from Arkansas (bradley and Clarke). Considering he couldn't shoot to save his life and did not have great size, Dane Bradshaw was a damn good college basketball player. Worst: Too many to name.

Damn child, you are young.

Maravich is in the running for best college basketball player in HISTORY, not just best white boy.

That was my first thought even though Issel is right up there. I think he still holds the record for most double-doubles in the SEC (career and single season).

STFU

Maravich is arguably the best college player of all time, not just white player.

Issel is not up there with Maravich.

Ernie Grunfeld for Tennessee is up there. Bailey Howell for Mississippi State is another good one.

Maravich is the best, but Bailey Howell should be up there as well.

Best is Marshall Henderson and it's not even close.

I'll throw Florida's Nick Calathes into the mix as a quality player...only played two years but led the league in assists both years and had some nice little flair to his game.

On the other end of the spectrum for Florida, Christian Drejer certainly ranks up there as a giant bust.

Maravich by a mile. Don't know about the worst in SEC.

Auburn only:

Best: John Mengelt

Worst: No longer remember his name (mercifully); he was a 7 foot center in the 70s or 80s and had about a 3" vertical leap. Looked very Neanderthal.

Maravich is more than just the best white boy. He's arguably the best to ever play the game (in college)
