And San Diego State...if you think our pitching is terrible and you only need to worry about the bats then you haven't been paying attention. Robicheaux, Baranik, and Boutte are a hell of a 1-2-3 punch.

I'm not saying that they are terrible. Just that we have faced much better competition throughout the year and hit better staffs than them.

We didn't get swept by LSU, champ. And y'all were a midweek game IIRC. We nearly swept State in Starkville so yes, we're a considerable amount better than them. Most State fans will tell you that.

To be honest, this season, for LSU and Ole Miss, came down to Christian Trent being kicked off. If LSU had Christian, the title would be wrapped up right now...on the contrary, Ole Miss probably wouldn't be in the postseason.

I think out bats would have helped us get there but we for sure aren't hosting. We'd be a two or three seed somewhere.

You're using some kind of dumb SEC superiority bullshite here when that is clearly irrelevant. The Cajuns are 5-1 vs the SEC, and a few of those games were never really even close. This isn't football, good baseball exists outside of the conference. It's ok to admit that.

No I'm not. I think ULL is a very good team but I don't think they're great. Ole Miss isn't a great team either. All I'm saying is that we have faced better pitching this year than ULL has. Yes I strongly believe Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina and Vanderbilt have better staffs than ULL does. I also think Washington was a much better staff. I'm not saying ULL is a bad team or has a bad pitching staff. Only that Ole Miss has seen better.

I'm sure you've faced better pitching, but we aren't too shabby on the mound. I think what you should really be on the lookout for are our bats. We can play both small ball and gorilla ball, and we went on a tear at the plate the last four games after losing to Jackson State last Friday.
But all in all, we know what we are up against. Ole Miss has a good team as always. It should be a great series.
