Who is more important for UGA to stop.

Hill or Mettenberger
If Hill gets going it opens up the play action, controls the clock and tempo in LSU's favor. However Landry and Odell have been the best WR combo in the nation this year, and Mett looks legit.
I'm leaning towards Hill. But I can see him being keyed in on and Mett having a career day through the air.
This game is gonna be awesome

If you stop hill you stop mettenburg sooooooo

Obvious answer would be Hill, but I think Mettenberger. If UGA's cbs play lights out and give Mett nothing all day, then they can load the box with the safeties.

If you don't hit Mettenberger and lSU is scoring quickly it will get ugly quick. Hill will get his yards but just like. LSU has always done you have to tighten up in the red zone and hold to FG if possible.

How is UGAs pass D?
Shaw put up 228 and 2tds and Boyd 270 and 3tds. Neither threw a pick.

I don't think you can stack the box against Hill. Mett has shown he is more than capable of picking apart secondaries.

Hill.
Georgia doesn't want LSU to have the PA game working.

Agree but Mettenberger is still immobile and gets nervous with pressure. Hit him and often hope he make a bad pass. If he is on it will be tough to beat them.

How has UGAs pass rush been? I can't remember it being that noticeable against SCAR or Clemmy

It also helped that they could move around and escape pressure. We would get a hand near those guys and they'd either take off running or buy more time.
If we get to mett, he's not escaping.

IMO, you're not going to really take either Hill or Gurley out of the game. They'll get their yards. However, you stand a chance with Mett. Take him out and the game is yours.

auburn put 10 in the box vs hill and he still busted through
im say stop hill first forcing us into passing situations. I think the real key is stopping us early and forcing a turnover to see if les seizes up and takes control from cam

See normally it's a no brainer. But LSUs WRs are scary this year. You can stack the box to try and stop hill, which might be the only way to stop him, but that leaves favorable match ups in the secondary with Landry and Odell. I don't know.

mett has moved better in the pocket this year than past years.
auburn did get to him a few times but it appeared we had shut down by that point

Haven't noticed him get nervous with pressure so far. When he has had it he steps up in the pocket.
