Who is going to control the East for the next 5 years?

The East is really up in the air at the moment. I think there are three serious contenders vying for control over the East: Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.
Tennessee looks like the favorite this year but will Butch be able to build on that success in the years to come? Georgia has a brand new coach that has done a great job in the limited time he has been there but hasn't even coach one game yet. Florida surprised many last year when they won the East but will McElwain be able to build on last year?
You also can't leave out Mizzou or South Carolina. Both have new coaches but it is going to take more time to build at those schools. I could see one of these schools playing the spoiler role in the East but I still believe the other three schools have to be the favorite at this point.

It's gonna be UF, Tennessee, and UGA for the foreseeable future. The rest are basketball/baseball schools from now on.

Why do you say that? Not a fan of Butch?

Pre-season control or actual season control? That makes a difference.

Gotcha. Well the homer in me says UF. Throw UGA in there as well.
ETA: Ah shite I guess throw in UT, but they really need to prove something this year for once. Let's see what happens.

It will rotate between Tenn, Fla. and UGA.
Same as it always was.

I think either Mizzou or South Carolina will surprise. Not in winning the East multiples years but I think one of those schools will contend a couple of those years.

Definitely UF or UGA imo. Both have a recruiting advantage where UT used to be able to recruit nationally and be one of the only games on TV, now that is not the case. Also, Tennessee isn't a very good state for recruiting.
I would def trust Smart or McElwain with my program. Both are coaching stars for sure and have Del Rio and Eason. Look out.

Fair enough but Butch has done a good job bringing in talent to this point. I think some of his in game coaching does deserve some criticism though.

I believe it is probably going to take Smart a little longer to get the ball rolling considering its his first year but the Smart/Eason combination could be a scary thing in 2-3 years.
