Mostly bad news for bama. He has had his sites set on them for a while actually. AU as well, but he came up empty at the time.

It was agreed upon by just about all on this board that if he gets involved on a story about your school, it is the death knell for your program.

It is apparent that many that rode his dick during the Cam era (Big story coming by Charles. Ended up being about Miami, but many swore it was Auburn), are now claiming he has bad info...

So he actually knows what he's doing?

What Jim Cantore is to Coastal Towns....Charles Robinson is to CFB campuses.

I read a little of the article but the guy seems to back his information up with things that may be facts. It doesn't seem like he is speculating or making many presumptions.

He's the guy who is about to get a midnight knock on his front door from Fletcher Cox and Chad Bumphis.

I heard him on the radio today. No doubt this stuff is prob true but you could tell he would like to put a dent in the SEC. Went to Michigan State I believe and used to think Michigan/Ohio State was the pinnacle of college football. That bubble popping has to be painful. He has prob heard enough about the great SEC.

Possibly the ONLY sports journalist now days that has any sense of ethics and credibility. If he finds anything that links our actual school to this shite, ill be the first to condemn them because if he says it, its pretty much always dead on.

He dont say shite unless he has something to back it up with, unlike these other jackwagons at SI and ESPN that just print a story without even sourcing facts and shite.

Heard him with Chris Childers today too. He was nailed down on his points during the interview. Tough to challenge him on his facts.

I didn't detect any SEC vendetta from him. Sounded like the same approach he took with the Reggie Bush deal. Nail down the facts, report the story and then stand by what you've reported.

Interesting. I know how slimey Oklahoma State is, but the way they were "investigated" by SI is pretty fricking weak, imo. At least there is someone out there that actually tries to find evidence. Sucks for Bama though, whatever they are guilty of, much like Oklahoma State, everyone is guilty of.

About on par with the HBO "investigation" of the Auburn four. Which is to say, certifiably weaksauce.

Charles Robinson is the antithesis of the HBO/SI/Thayer approach.
