Gus's buyout is $0 for him to leave on his own.

You are dead wrong. The numbers posted on the Arky board, as far as his buy-out, were if he left on his own accord. Do you honestly think Auburn would only owe him $500K a year, for the next three years, on a contract where he is due over $14 mill over the next three years?

The information about the $0 is if he left for his dream job, it's written in his contract like that per sexton.

Gus is headed to Arkansas, I think that press conference confirms it even more Gus will be in on the AD hire.

Arkansas is basically dropping their pants and bending over. HUGE deal and Saban like control.

Walmart changed to Gusmart, etc.

Can't blame him at all.

I'm not. Are you? I get a kick out of you Arky morons who think a coach can just leave a school with no monetary compensation. saban is the only HC who has no buy-out if he chooses to leave a school on his own accord. Buy-outs are not a one way street. HC's cover their fannies and schools do the exact same thing.

Are you new to college sports?

The waltons who care about sports don't want Gus.

This is chicken money and real estate, you have a lot of nice new apartments in the area, the guy that owns them lives in NWA.

Uncle Jerry still has the most pull of all of them.

Guess we'll settle for an unqualified position coach then.

Arkansas. Isn't that the shite stain that Orgeron's player still can't get out of their cleats? It really sticks with the pig entrails. That's right, that's what you represent to LSU.

No need to make fun of Arky, they're 4-8. It is very interesting now with all the openings. Arky has Walmart and Jerry money, they'll do ok.

Gundy's son goes to school at Arkansas.

He had serious interest in the job last time, but he isn't under T. Boone's thumb now like he was then.

Not making fun of them. Just that the SEC deserves better. They're a great conference USA type program. Beat an LSU once every moon and rejoice. Just not in the SEC.

Well they beat us a lot more often than I would like. It's been when we're good, they're bad, they're good, all kinds of ways.

Curly Hallman and Gerry Dinardo asked if you wanted to come over for Thanksgiving leftovers? Oh, they also wanted me to remind you that American football did , in fact, begin before 2001.
