I don't know that Tennessee has more talent but I will say this, they will be more balanced. How that plays out is anyone's guess but Tennessee does have talent and they are building a very good team.

Tennessee should have kept their bye before Alabama this year. Only competitive games since Saban has been there (2009 and 2015) have been when Tennessee was coming off a bye and Alabama was coming off 7 straight games.

Not to take away from UT's performance in 2014, but you guys were down 27-0. In typical Alabama fashion, we let our foot off the gas after the huge lead.

If any other team said this, I might believe it. But Saban and Kiffin don't just "take their foot off the gas", especially against a rival.

In fairness to Saban and Kiffin, they probably forgot it was a rivalry.

Actually they do. And it's happened a few times. Though not as often with Kiffin as OC. McElwain was bad about getting too conservative with a big lead.

Saban has done this a LOT, actually. Most memorable is probably the 2009 BCSCG.

Laugh if you like, sir. The days of UT being an auto win for Bama are over, at least for now.

Bama's offense is run heavy anyway, but I've seen you absolutely annihilate teams in the 3rd and 4th quarters, A&M comes to mind immediately.

Yeah, but that's because A&M couldn't stop us from running up the middle. Our conservative offense easily gained yards on them as well.

More accurate is last year's game against A&M. Our defense kept scoring points, so our offense stayed conservative all game. Only 70 plays, 45 of which were run plays.

UT has recruited too good on the DL lately for this to be a blowout.
