Bama had a good but not great team in 2008. Hell, John Parker Wilson and Glen Coffee started for us.

The years we lost, yall were clearly better. 2008, no question, but our homefield brought us to OT with an 8-5 team. 2012, no question(but our homefield made it closer then it should have been in my opinion once again). 2002 with our third string QB, no question. Why can you not comprehend this?

they can't comprehend it because:

a) they can't handle alabama not being the best in everything, so they are being intentionally obtuse

b) they are trolling

or

c) they are just stupid

Their LT jumps offside. Line up for the next play, their LT jumps offside again. Line up again, their LT blows his assignment and their QB gets sacked in the endzone for a safety.

Sounds like they had a shitty LT.

You still dont get it do you. We sucked so much arse from 89-96 we would have needed snipers in the upper deck to help us win at home

UGA had some pretty lean years then too but a MUCH better home field advantage.

2002 Bama-LSU pretty evenly matched. LSU had Saban. We had Fran. Bama beat the snot out of LSU

Proof you are a Bama fan that jumped on the wagon after 2009. Care to guess who our QB was that game? Rick Clausen. Because our 1st String Mauck and 2nd string Randall were hurt

The definitive stat would be to compare SEC W-L record home and away over a certain period of time.

I am fine with that idea. I think the better teams in the SEC play in those types of environments enough to not really have an issue, but I can certainly see how a good home crowd can help your own players perform above their heads. I imagine lesser teams from other conferences probably feel the effects of a hostile home crowd more than our top teams.

Which I did and LSU had the 25th best home field advantage over that period
