He's breaking in a 1st year QB in the SEC and doesnt have a heisman QB back there anymore. No, it's stupid to assume A&M will automatically be the #1 offense in the SEC.

I don't think it's stupid. It's dumb to act like it's guaranteed; however, it's possible. 2 years ago, the college football world did not foresee Manziel becoming a superstar. I don't know who is vying for A&M's quarterback position, but I don't think it matters that much.

Why don't you select the stat that supports your position. I'm sure you'd be arguing total yds, if you had more.

Are game avgs used for awards after the season?

When someone says that one team had more total offense than another, they are always referring to average yards per game. Gaining more yards because you played more games means nothing, its why the NFL doesnt use postseason stats to determine rankings or records.

SEC OFFENSE STATISTICS

A&M scored 22 more pts total, and 5 more ppg.

NEXT.

Laugh if you wish... but folks are going to have a hard time stopping Arkansas' running game - ESPECIALLY if we have a mediocre or better passing game.

ETA: I know that doesn't equate to 'explosive', although we are going to have one back that is capable of going to the house from any point on the field, Korliss Marshall.

He can scramble short yardage, but he's more of a system QB with the caveat that he has an NFL caliber arm with the right coaching.

As some have said, I don't think it matters who the QB is the Ags have a couple of really talented guys who fit well in their system. With Allen id expect more of a pure air raid with a lot of plays utilizing their tailbacks. With Hill I'd expect a similar offense to what JFF utilized.

Those mean old Aggies were right so you gotta start talking about defense in a thread about offense.

Do they make LSU posters take a course in deflecting when they sign up on this site?

Aggies will have the best stats after running it up on the weak sisters of the poor.

3000+ yards came to the out of conference weak sisters of the poor you played.

You put up 50 on Vandy and Ms State from the SEC...

I guess A&M needed 42 pass attempts and 426 yards passing from Manziel to get past Sam Houston State....

His scrambling ability is similar to someone like Aaron Rodgers. He wont beat you with his legs but he can escape pressure and go pick up first downs if you leave the middle of the field open.
