Mauk's career is done unless he gets drafted in the supplemental draft or gets picked up as a unsigned fee agent because no college is going to want his druggie arse

Tiger fans, tell me, are BeeFense's opinions popular?

Most fans I know wanted Miles gone if it meant a big name hire. If not a big name hire, most thought he deserved to coach the 2016 season since LSU returns so much.

I was completely fine with Miles leaving, but the mans accomplishments are what they are.

Why is it shocking? We are LSU fans, this happens after every game every season for the last 11 years. Seems that most would be accustomed to it by now.

WTF does that even MEAN ??????????? A&M week was the only time in Miles' 11 years in Baton Rouge that he has "had another life." He had been linked to the Michigan job a couple of times and even the Arkansas job once - but not because he was in danger of being fired. He was ostensibly offered those jobs.
It was few strong-armed LSU BOS members that put pressure on Alleva to dismiss Miles. Not the fans. Not the Tiger Rant posters. Not the alumni.

And Alleva had decided BEFORE the A&M game that Miles would stay.

Jump in a sewer.

Also, Fat Bert had 5 losses this year. Miles had 3. Arky and Ole Miss fans need to realize their "dream" seasons they are so fond of either had more losses or the same amount of losses as our "horrible" year

Latarian wins again. He should teach classes on how to do this.

I disagree. Trolling makes no sense when there is no base of fact to the troll. I hate how people can post dumb inaccurate info, then crawfish to "trolling" when they are called out on it

A good troll is:

AJ has the same amount of SEC titles as JJ as a starting QB

Once you start arguing over what a good troll is, you know you've been trolled.

I get that you're butthurt over that, but based on his record, Miles is one of the best coaches in SEC history. Sorry if that upsets you.

Yeah very surprising that random people on an internet message board don't have hiring and firing power for a D1 college football program.

Mauk and Miles both have some things that you and the Pigs don't have -- SEC divisional titles, and Miles has SEC and National Championships. When you win the SEC and get in the National Championship come back and talk smack because then you will have earned some stripes in football. It's been 50 years since AK football was nationally relevant.
