You basically said what I had previously stated. Except your response was tldr. For Kentucky, it begins and ends with their length on defense (I'm talking top to bottom, so depth is included). Their offense doesn't have to be elite if they can shut teams down to 50 points or less. However, at times their offense looks scary good (not quite on the same level of duke), if both of them are clicking on all cylinders, look out. Plus, Kentucky seems to go to another level during the tournament.

Enjoy wearing your Kentucky blues come March.

They will lose at least 1 game, and hopefully that will wait until the NCAA tournament.

Calipari & Saban do seem to be an awful lot alike. Cal has a better personality publically, but IMO their coaching philosophy's are similar.
"I'll bring up Alabama in a timeout: 'Are we playing like Alabama?'" Calipari said.

I always regret pulling and even betting against the undefeated Patriots. As a sports fan, I love sports history. And sometimes it's easy to see what current moments will make the best history.

No, of course not. And I don't hate Kentucky.

We agree man. I just said its nearly caught up with them a couple times this season in the SEC and it doesn't make them that fun to watch IMO. Assumptions would say it probably won't happen again but you get a good team shooting hot and UK struggling to score, things can happen.
I like Cal alright and think he's a good coach but with his track record I don't want to see him be the latest guy to go undefeated. I just don't see "greatness" with Cal. He is like the new Tarkanian to me..

Not shite a bama fan would appreciate a coach with little moral compass and a propensity to bend the rules.
How many Brady posters do you own?

I don't want them to make it through the SEC slate undefeated, but if they do I want to see them go undefeated.

#1) So you can rub it in on all the schools outside the conference
"Yeah My team might've sucked arse this year, but since Kentucky went undefeated this year I feel vindicated. Who cares that they blew out my team on national tv twice? You other conference can suck it! SEC SEC SEC!"
Do you see Purdue and Illinois fans puffing out their chest since Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin won big? No, because they know that the success of others will not magically transfer over to them, and UK's success won't transfer over to Bama.

#2) Brings more maria exposure to SEC over other conferences
Oh please. Everyone knows it's Kentucky and everyone else in terms of SEC basketball. The only exposure we will see is "which SEC peon will Kentucky pummel next?" You think anyone outside the south will care about any non- UK SEC matchup?
quote:
#3) More wins = more money for the other SEC teams (including Hogs)
While that may be true, I doubt any school in the SEC is in the red, and money isn't a big concern. If that's your reason for cheering for other schools then I guess that's fine, but since every school already pulls in millions of dollars on their own, I don't see what the big deal is.
Also I don't hate UK or anything. They were cool at the Football game last year ( not so much basketball). I'm just a fan of chaos is all.
