I hope Alabama at least humbles Georgia fans. They are calling into radio shows in Atlanta talking about how this isn't even going to be close

No reasonable UGA fan is saying that. I could point out how UF posters here were chirping about how close UF was to 10-2 last season ("if not for lightning, dropped INT against FSU, and a dropped pass in the end zone and we were right there!") but I know that no sane UF fan actually would say that.

Every fanbase has their Tammys who like to call into radio shows. It will be a close game. If it is a blowout, I think the odds are better than it is Alabama doing the thrusting.

I expect Bama to pull out a close one. Something like 21-17

Good post.

I still hope Bama fans humble UGA, but I'm sure y'all hope we get shite on by Ole Miss. It's not personal, it's business. I hope y'all stay healthy in your game

I am listening to it right now. Chubb is going to run all over Bama. Coker doesn't have a chance against a real SEC defense etc etc. Literally every caller. The hosts both think UGA is going to win but they at least admit there is a change UGA might possibly by some freak accident might lose

Georgia winning a big game as a favorite is the equivalent of Auburn actually meeting high pre-season expectations, it Just doesn't happen.

Dawgs roll, payback for the SECCG loss a few years back.

As the tide recedes threads start popping up.

barners are already taking the place of the piggies as hopeless trolls.

bayou bengals havnt realized the rebears are the new west overlords.

East is back by riding the coattails of uga..

west is down.

Meh, Georgia's Georgia. They're always gonna be good but they're gonna flop in a couple games every year. This isn't a Richt thing, Dooley did it too. I don't know if its against us this year but it will be against somebody and they will just fall short of a memorable season.

I saw LSU next to the name and thought "it isn't like an LSU to make some UGA obsessed thread", then I saw it's an auburn fan which makes total since.

Only way I'll find any joy in this game is if both teams manage to lose. I'll even settle for a Tie

So, therefore every Bama fan must hold these beliefs as truths. That's how it works, right?

This is the most decided advantage Georgia has had since 2007 in this game. We're not as bad as that 07 team was but it's the first time that it looks like UGA has a better team since that season.

02 and 03 nobody in their right mind thought we had a chance in either of those and they were right. I think the 03 game Georgia was up 37-3 or something at halftime.

I mean, it's radio show hosted in a city 45 mins from Athens. If I was listening to a local radio show in a city 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa, I would imagine those calls would be a bit biased as well.

Georgia isn't going to get Richted in this game.

More likely against Kentucky or Tennessee.

It would really suck to have all this buildup and have Chubb/Henry/Lambert/Coker go down with an injury early on. I want to see us both at full strength.

This is the type of game that Georgia chokes and the type of game Bama either rolls easily or wins in a nail biter.
