Oregon wouldn't stand a chance against Bama. No one does when Nick has that long to prepare. He would get his players in the shape they'd need to shut Oregon down. Like most schools outside SEC, you wouldnt be able to stop the run. Oregon hasn't really had a great track record recently with top tier SEC teams, either.

For the hundredth time, this roster is completely different from the rosters in 2010 and 2011. Those results have no bearing on what this game will be like, whether it be a blowout loss or a victory.

Two of our OL are on the two different midseason AA lists in Grasu (incumbent first team all pac 12 center) and Tyler Johnstone (freshman all American LT last year). This oline doesn't get whipped up front like the '09 and '10 group that was best described as blue collared with only one getting drafted.

I'd expect every single player in our two deep to get drafted with Buckner being the 1st rounder of the group. Oregon plays with 6 290+ DL rotation (3 man front) and the OLBs are 240+. Oregon's front seven rotation was decimated in the LSU game. Kiko Alonso was suspended, we'd lost both ILBs to the draft in Paysinger and Matthews, and we were replacing 5/7 starters.
The sample size against the SEC is too small to come to conclusions.

you are correct, the rosters are different but I think you should understand why everyone is so hesitant (other than the fact they are a bunch of homers) to crown the ducks the kings of the world until they do it
