I was hanging in Hong Kong that weekend and staying with this Asian family of a girl I knew. They told me I could watch the game on their computer. I get up at 4:30 AM to watch the game. The CBS Sports site won't stream the game on their internet. It was blocked for whatever reason. I had to use my phone and international data plan.
I watched the game. I brought the family some souvenir Auburn / Alabama coffee mugs. At the end of the game Verne mentioned driving from Tuscaloosa to Atlanta and stopping in my hometown where he also bought Auburn and Alabama coffee mugs. Kind of crazy since I gave them the mugs 5 minutes before he said it.
I pretty much watched the entire game until the final second. The clock hit zero on that Yeldon run, and my stream died. The nanny at their house brought me some coffee and food, and I sat there talking to her for a second figuring the game would pick back up in few minutes while they get ready for overtime. I then check my phone and my CBS Sports App pops up a final score of Alabama 31 - Auburn 28. I was like WTF, they put a second back on the clock and Cade Foster's arse redeemed himself? I checked Twitter and people were freaking out. I watched the play on Deadspin.
I left their house about 15 minutes later to go explore the city. My phone started popping up $30 late charges for going over my data plan. I ended up getting about 4 of them. It was worth it.
The end.

I was in Auburn, but did not have tix. Just went for the massive tailgate with family and friends who did. We had a big screen etc, and watched it from outside the AU library.
Had gotten fairly liquored up and had a couple of guys and a Bama girl, who got more and more testy as the evening went on, but no doubt because she was with us.
Anyway, game got tied and everybody is on pins and needles for the kick. Then the stadium ERRUPTED. like fricking vesuvius. There is a time delay between live action and what shows on TV of about 3-5 seconds. So we knew some shite just went down, but then it starts coming in on other peoples TV remote set ups around campus and it was like fireworks. As soon as we saw it, we went ape shite. So did everybody else. However, the time delay was very cool to observe.
Total and complete ape shite. Joy approaching rapture from the AU folks. That poor Bama girl, not sure where she went. We were not ugly to her or any bama fans, but they disappeared like a fart in the wind as you can expect. (I woulda done the same probably, especially with a snoot full.)
Closest thing I can imagine to it is the earthquake game at LSU years ago. (and frick Tommy Hodgson forever.)

You are nuts.
For not going inside and getting a burger.

I can't fathom what it felt like for Auburn fans.
I felt like I had no control of my body. All I could do was jump and scream.

I was at home. I had gone out and celebrated the impending victory like a rock star the night before. Talking all night telling everyone that Bamas arse was kicked, it was over. I was a bit out of my mind and people thought I was nuts but for some reason I was extraordinarily confident. AU was playing at what I knew would be a Furious Hare. I was there in 1989. Bama stood zero chance that day. When the Hare gets to that kind of level, AU really is almost unbeatable. I just knew a truly angry Hare was coming and was going nuts the night before.
Got in with a girl about 6am. Handled business, slept two hours and was amped all day. Stayed home for the game and honestly just feel over in the floor when it happened. Kind of a blur. Deliriously happy saying holy frick. Got up, went out on my balcony and screamed war eagle a few times as loud as I could.
Then rallied and partied again till sunrise celebrating again.
Then died for about two days.

I was at the game ( in the Alabama band section). Worst sporting experience of my life. After we played the fight song we just sat there for 15 minutes. We didn't even play the alma mater like we usually do. Eventually we walked out back to the bus. Dealing with crazy fans. One old barner fart threw a "hook 'em" sign in my face and said that Saban was definitely heading to Texas. We tried to drive away but people were banging on the bus and everything. The next day was worse. Hell, the sun didn't even shine in Tuscaloosa for days. Just a bad experience all around, just sucked the life out of me. I was so emotionally drained that the Sugar Bowl loss didn't even affect me that much.

I was piss drunk and had the largest melt of my life. I think I started a thread about wanting to leave the SEC thank God the score board gets deleted
I was so tired and depressed I couldn't even gather the strength to drink. I also got on tRant and made a thread titled "frick the SEC!!!! OH! IO! Needless to say I did not get a lot of nice responses.

I went to go piss as I thought the game was over. Came back and everyone was in awe and I was just confused.

I was trying to get out of Bobby Dodd stadium after UGA-GT.
Everyone was on the ESPN app trying to get updates and we all saw that Bama was lining up for a game winning field goal. We all thought they knocked it home and won, but then walking by some Tech frat house (lol) I saw the highlights and was in awe.

There is a video of our tailgate on Donahue. Surprisingly the F word was used minimally, but it was a sight to see. I tore a ligament in my knee running to our neighbors to celebrate...gahdamn potholes.

I was at twin peaks in Addison and pissed that they had the iron bowl on almost every tv. Anyway as the game was pretty good I got into it eventually. The place went nuts when he ran the kick back and all I could think of is FSU will win the natty now.
I was happy for Auburn though.

I didn't see it but I was listening to Alabama's radio announcers. It was glorious.
