But Jones, you're solid.

Thread is in good fun. I know some of the more solid LSU fans like yourself won't take the bait

Maybe Alabama should have taken us more seriously.

No doubt. That was the best Ole Miss team we had seen in years and years, and it should have come as no surprise that we needed one more score to beat you.

Oh God, our fans are passionate about our football program and wanted to celebrate a victory. Oh what horror..

Agree. I wish I could exclude him when I stir the rebbears up.

The point is you claim that every game anyone plays against you is their "Super Bowl". Most of the time it's aimed at Ole Miss and Arkansas fans as an explanation for why we beat you every other year because our team and fanbase "cares more about the game than LSU"

The pictures in the OP prove that to be false.

I retract my earlier statement. I thought he was being clever, but judging by his other posts that's not too likely.

I was actually getting worried I had missed something. I re-read his post 5 times.

I'm fairly certain that fans rushing on the field does not indicate how the PLAYERS perceive the game.

Huh.

Slightly off topic, but here's a picture after winless Arkansas beat #20 LSU in 2014:

I just moved back to Oxford from Charleston, S.C. When I was in Chucktown I adopted a dog named Bear. I didn't see the irony in it until I moved back to Oxford. I may consider renaming him RebBear in homage.
