that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Sure it does. The tougher the schedule, the better you look when you take them down.

Nobody cares about the Podunk team that took down UT.

So you want Tennessee to be better but not good enough to beat Bama? And somehow Tennessee is hurting LSU's strength of schedule? That's the argument now?

Yes, umm, maybe...yea.

Exactly. Do you think it bothered me when we were winning 10 or 11 games per year, that Florida had an automatic W vs LSU every year while we were playing Bama? Of course not. I was pissed off at the fact that we didn't beat Florida that year, not that LSU didn't beat them.

Bingo. I wouldn't expect the shortsighted crowd to understand this. Talking shite about UT is convenient because we've been bad. The anger is really directed towards Bama through UT.

Well that's crazy because the SEC champ has been almost guaranteed to be in the NCG. Can't blame us for 21-0 and the 2012 loss.

Below is an easy visual reference explaining the differences between Bama, Tennessee, and LSU.

Bama and Tennessee on TSIO regardless of time period/who is on top or holding the streak have always been like:

LSU thinking about playing Florida or UGA be like:

We are in the worst stretch in our proud programs history . We still play Alabama, Florida, and Georgia every year, yet we aren't mad.

Apparently not. Had trouble filling up the stadium for it last year.

After having losing seasons in 5 of the past 6 years this is what a once proud Vol fanbase is reduced to. Not winning the division. Not winning the conference. Not winning NC's. What this once powerhouse program is proud of is being the punch-drunk sparring partner for Bama, Florida and Georgia.

They finally have something to elevate them back into the upper-echelon of the conference elites......."we ain't scurred of bama...why them cajun's keep bitchin?".....
