I've heard he secretly desires to move to the posh and luxurious metropolis of Tuscaloosa.

Finebaum has about as much business talking about football, as Kim Kardashian has being famous.

He is definitely jumping at the opportunity. He doesn't want to live in the small podunk Clemson town with the poors.

why do so many Auburn and Alabama people leave to come to Clemson. Danny Ford still lives in Clemson despite being fired by the university. lol

Nobody is going to leave this:

For this:

No one knows until the time comes.
The love of all things Bama is there for Dabo. He played for, went to school there, got his Masters there coached there.
Will he come if asked. See first line of post.

Alabama fans only fans I ever seen speculate about who their next coach is going to be with even though their coach is not on the hot seat or has not indicated he plans to retire soon. lol

y'all seem worried bama can't win without a coach that has won a natty.

Here are the coaches of the most recent title teams other than Saban:
Dabo
Meyer
Jimbo
Les Miles
Auburn coach that won it with Cam
Mack Brown
the Seattle head coach that was at USC, forget his name

I assume that Bama would only consider Jimbo, Dabo, Seattle coach and Meyer off that list. and only one with any chance of getting is Dabo most likely, only b/c he played at Bama.

if Bama doesn't land one of those, apparently it is doomed.

who would have thought that Bama would be in a position where they are so desperate that they need goofy Dabo who coaches lil ol Clemson to stay viable. lol

I think bama is going to end up with les miles. lol

Mississippi schools, losing out on high rated home state players going to Bama could very well be the difference between middle of pack and competing for an SEC west championship

Auburn and LSU both benefit.

Auburn gets more in-state players, and LSU keeps a lot of their in-state players that have been getting away since Nick Saban arrived at Alabama.

In general, Alabama will still have an extreme amount of success after Nick Saban leaves no matter who they hire. See, Miami under Larry Coker. For how long, though, remains to be seen. I would still consider them a National Title contender 2-3 years after Nick Saban moves on no matter who is hired. The cupboard is full.
