Who are you expecting to play in the tournament finals on Sunday.

I'm expecting LSU vs Vandy myself but would not be surprised if LSU lost today. We have the #1 spot in the regional secured and I would not expect more than 80-85 pitches out of Alex. Maybe even less. Plus Florida is a formidable opponent.

Vandy is pitching their 2nd Ace today and their bats are on fricking fire. Be hard to pick against them.

Before the tourney started I picked UF & A&M. I think I'll switch it up and pick Vandy & LSU after seeing how teams are playing. I don't have a ton of confidence in Vinson even though he's been great out of the pen.

I really do not believe this LSU team cares about having anything sewn up yet. This is a different kind of team, they want it all, and will play their butts off to accomplish that.

Will this be the first time we have let him start a game all year?

I agree, and disagree. CPM Will manage his pitchers with next week and mind. Not saying he will try and lose...
If Lange has a 2-1 lead going into the 7th, his pitch count will determine if he continues. Not rather or not it is the best decision to win the game.

Indeed. This will be our 8th different starting pitching this year. He's had 30 appearances this year and 70 something for his career, all out of the pen. His longest appearance was 4-1/3 so I don't expect him to out there too long. He's similar to Kent in that he replies on junk and spotting the ball. Not overpowering (at all) stuff so maybe it'll work like last time.

Vandy bats are hot (against hot garbage pitching), but damn they know how to choke. Florida wins 5 to 4.
