I think LSU-UF is guaranteed to be a close game.

Alabama-Texas A&M could be more exciting overall, but I think there's still a chance Alabama runs away with it. They did win 59-0 last year.

Well on the one hand you have a game that was 59-0 last season and while A&M has improved and Bama has gotten worse, c'mon.

On the other hand you have a game between two evenly matched teams both of which look improved that was decided on the last play last year. Also this game has the next SEC Heisman winner as well as having Fournette.

Which team will have the most fans pulling for them to LOSE? Easily, Bama.

Which one got the prime time TV spot?

Well considering networks consider Prime Time TV spots to be 6pm-10pm. That would be LSU vs Florida. Good point Dyke

And the rest of the world views 6-8 Primetime.

Then why does CBS reserve 1 PRIME TIME 7pm spot per year for the BEST game of the season? (LSU vs Bama, Bama vs Auburn in recent years)

There is a good argument for Bama/A&M - its an elimination game for both the SEC and the National title races whereas as both Florida and LSU could drop Saturday's game and still make it to Atlanta and beyond.

Why does CBS get to choose first every week?

This could be the best weekend of CFB thus far.

I already agreed with you that they (CBS) view A&M vs Bama as the best game this week.

The point I am making is about Prime Time TV spots....you'll never see Game of Thrones come on at 2:30 pm ever because....its not prime time

LSU/UF might be closer but lots of punts and turnovers.

LSU has, what, 3 turnovers on the year? Or maybe 2?

idk about UF, but LSU doesn't really turn it over.

I agree on the punts though. Both defenses are good.

Both games are huge for conference standings, esp the west. At the end of the day, there could be two teams at the top of the west, one team, or a three way tie.

I think LSU vs UF is more intriguing right now with a heisman front runner and an up and coming team in UF, but the A&M-Bama game has the biggest implication for the west division.

Another loss by Bama and they are likely out of the playoff race and probably no longer control their own destiny for a conference title.

And I never argued that. I argued that, by the people who are in charge of setting up the TV schedule, a&m/bama is viewed to be the better game
