Nope, you said MSU OFFERED money to the Newtons. This explicitly states that Rogers and Cecil ASKED for money.

I'll let you in on more info: Kenny and Cecil told MSU that they had offers from Oklahoma and another school ( I forget which) for $200,000 , but that they were offering Mullen a cut rate 'cause they liked him
I've never stated , or believed, that AU bought Cam just because his father and a shady "placer" were foolish enough to ask for money

This is all quite reasonable and believable. Don't tell that to your fellow cowbells though or they might have a cow since they believe that AU literally bought Cam.

Ha! They cussed me on here when I said I don't like the sound of cowbells within 30 yards.
I'll be OK

I don't see how anyone could tbh

ETA which makes it a good weapon against opponents, I've just never understood how state fans stand being in the middle of it

Keep in mind, this is Athletic Programs and not just Football, and it all started when an Auburn fan wanted to point out "harsh realities" about other programs.

Auburn hasn't had NCAA trouble in nearly 25 years. Georgia had had 2 star players get suspended just this decade for accepting money.

Dude. Georgia had no problem with the NCAA over those things. The player did. Auburn is considered (Rightfully or wrongly so) one of the dirtiest programs in the nation. DWI. It's not my opinion. Argue with the articles.

Quit trying to use ancient history to prove your point when modern current events says the opposite.

No. They don't. Auburn posters want to get on here and give other programs "harsh realities" and yet your fan base can't take harsh realities.

The go to punchline for an Aubie when confronted with the truth.
