honestly it's not bothering me, but it seems to have really bunched the hell outa some Mizzou fans panties..

quote under Mizzou section

One coach wasn’t willing to give Missouri too much credit.

“It’s an indictment on the entire East when Missouri wins the East two years in a row and gets destroyed by Auburn, then Alabama in the SEC championship game,” the coach said. “Georgia screwed it up last year (by losing to Florida), which Georgia is prone to do. Missouri is definitely not the most talented team in the East. It’s time for Georgia and Florida and Tennessee and South Carolina to restore order to the East.”

Our 13 team was loaded. Easily one of the 10 most talented teams in the country. 14 not as much so, but it's not like we had a bunch of grade schoolers running around out there. Still plenty of talent to win a division, especially the East in 2014.

The view of the East in 13 and our 13 squad is just wildly off base. I've never understood it.

I agree with whatever coach said that.

It's pretty funny that he pokes fun at Mizzou and Georgia when there isn't a single coach at Tennessee that has beaten either of those teams with the Vols.

Wouldn't be a TN, UF or UGA coach because they wouldn't have included South Carolina in the restoring order statement.

Had to be a coach from South Carolina anyway. No way anyone else would mention the Gamecocks in reference to restoring any order.

Yeah, I know.

People get WAY too hung up on recruiting rankings. Our 13 squad was loaded with NFL talent.

UGA and Scar have been competing, and you're right, it's not Spurrier, the only two programs that think "order needs restored" have to be Fl and Tenner, and the guy that got the quote is a Tenner writer which explains how he got the coach to go rogue like that.

or if it's not an east coach, it's a Les Miles or Bert quote, which wouldn't be a surprise either.

or maybe the Aggie OLine coach,, Dave Christensen.. (no not serious)

This has to be a fake quote from the Rant, if they're using the "order restored" slogan. And if I'm not mistaken, South Carolina's performance in the SECCG was the worst to date.

That's kind of what the person was saying. UF, UG and TN need to get it together for the East to be strong and actually win the SECCG.

Mizzou has been a good place holder IMO though up until game time.

writers who write "quotes off the record" pretty much deserve to have flat tires, herpes and rotten tomatoes hurled at them..

Meh, I don't think UF is getting back to the Meyer days and Mizzou is far from the only program to contribute to the East's losing streak.
