Ingram and Trent were failures? I agree this is a make or break year for Ingram at the Saints, but to call Trent a failure after he rushed for 950 yards and 11 TDs while being the entirety of the Browns offense as a rookie goes passed biased and into bitterness.

I would have called it a skillful feint.
ETA: And it worked, judging by the response below yours.

Hmm..lets see..multiple injuries on the LSU offensive line..starting running back tears ACL in second game..team still finishes in the top half in rushing...
This would be be a thread that I would bump. But hey, Roll Damn Tide

Bama lost two of their top 4 RB's early..... yet, overcame.

I'm honestly just kidding.
Trent had almost 1000 yards, yeah, but he's not that impressive so far, at like 3.5 ypc. Ingram hasn't done much better yet, and Lacy is kinda banged up right now. I think it bodes well for their season if Ingram and Richardson stay as healthy as they are now, but running backs are coming out of Alabama with some miles on them.
Pretty good read here: LINK
quote:
On the scout team, he was a punching bag. One play, on a blitz, Javier Arenas drilled Lacy's AC joint. Someone on the sideline stuffed a pad over the tender shoulder, tapped Lacy on the back and sent him back in for seconds. "Unless you were dead or your leg was physically broken or something like that," Lacy says, "there was no way to get out of practice." At Alabama, this was the culture. Play through pain or lose your spot. There's always another player in waiting.
ETA: My trolling reply was a good retort to this shitty bump though.

Lacy was your number one coming in, and many thought that Yeldon would be your number two anyway. Did you lose an all american tackle and all conference guard too? No. How good would your backfield had been without Lacy, Barrett, and Fluker?
Nice try though Gump.
