Missouri. For some reason they are always underrated.

After South Carolina's nose dive next year nobody is expecting anything from them at all. Spurrier may get them together.

Alabama is going to be stacked this year. They will be the team to beat.

I think folks are sleeping on UGA, USC, LSU and A&M. All of these teams are capable of 10 win seasons.

No coaches are sleeping on , Bama, Aub, LSU in the West.

But , beware of the rest of the west as we will decide which one of those three are pretenders!

You nailed it. There will be a significant improvement on defense, and even though Cooper's gone, there's a wealth of talent to catch the football....and Kiffen knows how to get it to them.

PS- Don't worry about the QB spot...it'll be covered.

South Carolina...If it wasn't for two of their posters on here, you could easily forget they were even in the league.

I sometimes do forget they're an SEC team. I think it's because I associate that state with Clemson and the ACC rather than USCe and the SEC

Also, anyone that thinks Alabama isn't the top dog just simply isn't paying attention. Alabama has had God only know how many top 5 recruiting classes in a row. This allows them to have bookos of deep talent where they simply reload, not rebuild.

Aubutn, UGA, LSU, A&M and Tennessee have also really recruited well - but not like Alabama.

I'll say AnM, if things break their way I could see 6 or 7 wins.

Agree, the HBC will have 'em ready. tRant's sleeping.

Kentucky will be better and make a bowl.

tRant is not sleeping on Mizzou this year. But the media and Vegas are making zzzzzzzzzz's. I like that. I like that a lot.

Lot of LSU fans feeling disrespected. I was gonna throw them in but they are too numerous on this board for that.

Arkansas is gonna be tuff if they have adequate QB play.

I always think Mullins gets the most from his scrubs.

A&M is an unknown but the West is so damn hard to win.

I'm not buying Tennessee yet, it will depend on how well their Oline can hold.

If the Old Ball Coach is calling plays their defense will be their unknown.

UGA is always as talented as anyone though they may not rate the sleeping on them category.

Missouri will take a step back only because I don't think they will keep overachieving.

I know nothing about Kentucky, but you usually don't need to know much about them.

Ole Miss may pull together feeling everybody is out to get them for cheating as bad as auburn under Chizik. QB play could add an extra game or two for almost any team with an unknown in that position.

This isn't the league that lets QB's get comfortable, make his reads and toss toss it to whoever s open. I still think running the ball Defense and Special teams along with schedule plus injuries will shake it all out.

TL DR?

LSU, ARK - West

USC, UGA - East.

LSU in the West.

South Carolina in the East.

Not much love for either right now.

Texas A&M.

Easiest schedule in the SEC West? Check.
Best offense in the SEC? Check.
Best WR corps in the nation? Check.
Proven QB with all the talent in the world? Check.
Best defensive coordinator in the SEC? Check.
Best defensive end in the SEC? Check?

Always one of the most talented teams Arkansas plays.
Hogs don't seem to give a shite about all that talent though.
