Ole Miss is Jerry in that episode where he's dating the Native American chick and keeps having to censor all of his racism.

Arkansas is George in the episode where he buys what he thinks is Jon Voights car.

The previous owner was actually John Voight and George gets mad at Jerry for pointing out the truth. Kind of like Arky fans get upset about the truth.

Bert is fat.

Don't know if this makes any sense, but I'll allow it because Puddy is one of the greatest all-time characters on Seinfeld in my opinion.

Kentucky: John Peterman

The real John Peterman was based in Lexington KY and his company had sales of 75 million at its peak. His daughter married Steve Zahn and they have a farm in Georgetown. He has beeen know to show up at UK games but gets overshadowed by other UK celebrities like Ashley Judd, Drake, Lebron, and Josh Hopkins.

Kentucky : George Steinbrenner

In real life Steinbrenner bought a part of the Red Mile in the 1980's or 1990's. The Red Mile is a harness track in Lexington KY. Also you have the Yankees / Wildcats connection. I think 7 or all 8 of UK's NCAA basketball championships were won in a 12 month cycle when the Yankees won the World Series.

Vanderbilt : Asian guy to be named later

Sony is asian and Vanderbilt is heavily asian. Sony owns lots of stuff and so do Vandy grads.

If we go that direction, Steinbrenner actually has a building named after him on campus and has contributed to a number of different UF athletic facilities.

I'm not sure. I just know his UF connections because my friend is an obsessed Yankee fan. Steinbrenner became a Bull Gator back in the 80s after he had started making contributions to UF in the 70s to pay for lights at the baseball field. Over the years he contributed millions to different academic/athletic facilities in addition to his Bull Gator donations. His final contribution was for the band building which was named for him.

All are Yankees, so none probably apply to SEC schools. I guess George could be Mizzou but overall it was a bad thread to use a yankee show to compare southern schools. Maybe better to use the Beverly Hillbillies as the Clampett Clan were from Arkansas.

Ole Miss is obviously Kramer the night he dropped N bombs during his stand up routine.
