He tweeted he was "eliminating" us right after Allen committed. Pretty obvious what went on, he even said it himself

LINK

quote:

Just a few weeks ago, Parkway (LA) quarterback Brandon Harris announced his top seven, which included Texas A&M. But after the Aggies landed a commitment from five-star Desert Mountain (Ariz.) signal caller Kyle Allen on Monday, Harris, considered by many as the nation’s top dual-threat quarterback, took to twitter to announce that he will no longer be ‘pursuing’ Texas A&M. Here is the full note: “I would like to wish Texas A&M the best of luck in the future, as they received a fantastic quarterback in Kyle Allen. I will no longer be pursuing Texas A&M anymore as this recruiting process goes along, best of luck this upcoming season and the future will write itself! #godbless Brandon Harris!”

They didn't but the statement made implied that Jennings had proven himself and Coker had not. Coker will have arguably the best best backfield in the country and one of the best receiving corps in college football to work with, so even if he is not any better than Jennings I still expect him to be much better.

So just because he eliminated aTm after they signed another QB means he "wanted to be an Aggie so badly" to you?

ETA: No where in that link does he even come close to implying that he really wanted to go to aTm.

Oh lord, how did he survive without A&M being in his top 6?

Did he tweet thanks to any other schools he was considering and offer effusive praise to their QB commits?

Reasonable people can disagree on the 2, but FWIW, the 1 start Jennings has was against a top ten defense. I'm a little bothered that he didn't have more success throwing the ball, but he didn't need to with Hill going HAM.

That's exactly what it means. LSU gets our offensive scraps and you know it.

Did any of the other schools he was considering sign another top rated QB before him?

This proves nothing. You claim he wanted to be an Aggie, yet your only proof is he thanked the school for their consideration after eliminating them.

Yep. aTm passed on the #1 player in the nation too, I guess.

We eliminated him when we signed another 5* QB. He would've been an Aggie if we'd have wanted him.

I agree, Jennings has a ton of potential. It will be up to CC to maximize it which his track record so far with Mettenberger looks good.

He was gracious enough when we took Allen over him. Shame LSU fans can't be as gracious to us for letting you have him, he should win you a lot of games. He fits that Jordan Jefferson/Perriloux/Russell Shepard dual threat mold that won so many games in the past

I think the offer was still good, he just would've never gotten playing time while Kyle Allen was there.
