All West HCs are safe for the next couple of years. Gus will feel the heat in 2017 after posting three consecutive 8-5 seasons. He will receive a nice severance package and an office down the hall between Pat and Tot.

Freeze because Ole Miss finally gets caught cheating.

If Bert finishes with 2 or fewer conference wins, he'll waddle back home.

I hate these LSU/A&M posts more than anyone, but please validate this statement for me?

From 1945–73, LSU went 17-3-1 against A&M. LSU has won the last four. It currently has been 20 years since Texas A&M has defeated LSU in a football game.

there is about a .0001% chance any SEC West schools fires their coach at the end of the year

suspect, no doubt.

I doubt any SEC West coach gets fired this year, but that said, if A&M and/or Arky show no progress from last year, either or both of those coaches could start to feel a little heat. Saban, Miles, Mullen and Freeze are totally safe, even with a losing season. Malzahn probably is, but a really disastrous season could put him in some jeopardy, too.

A&M has the only coach who hasn't lived up to the hype potential.

No west coach will get fired at the end of season unless he beefs it on his Harley. Smile.

If Les has a shitty season he has the highest of all

I am not sure any coach is really in danger in the West.
If things go badly, maybe Sumlin?

You guys didn't exactly get the question posed.
Of course all of the West division coaches are locked into long term contracts with big time paydays and buy outs.
BUUUUUTTTT that doesn't mean when one of the 7 has the wheels fall off the bus, and everything goes to shite. Be it an injury to Jeremy Johnson, another QB change by Sumlin, half the Arkansas team getting arrested on the bye week, Bama playing 4 QBs one quarter each game, Myles Garrett blowing out a knee from a cut block, Chad Kelly imploding, Les Miles being Les Miles, there's likely to be something that will cause one team to lose it and break apart internally.
When that happens, changes have to take place. Boiling my intention down to it's core w/ this thread. Other than Tennessee of course, which fan base has set their expectations for this season so unattainable if just a couple things go badly, that'll they'll 21-0 level, or John L. Smith level melt for 2 years.

You seem to have a very fricked up family structure where you come from. In the rest of the free world "Daddy" is synonymous with dont frick with me and LSU is your daddy

I don't see Mullen going anywhere. If A&M goes 7-5, 6-6, or a losing season then maybe Sumlin.
Les won't go anywhere unless LSU just totally implodes and has a losing season. And when is the last time LSU had a losing season?

Um....is this serious or a troll.. because the obvious answer is Arkansas- it'd be a bit early but given Bert's on field results he doesn't seem like a long-term guy. 2-14 in conference?
