EDIT : Sorry, you meant Barnett. Nothing happened to him, I just think Kiffin will be gone this offseason and Barnett will end up playing for the next OC.

Yea, I thought you meant Barnett, but I guess you were talking about Sims. I was surprised, because Barnett looks like a good one.

Saban decided that to continue to stay where we were we had to develop more explosiveness on offense, and so Kiffin is doing what he is expected to do.

And I agreed with that sentiment in 2009, but just think he's taken it a little too far.

Yea, I agree he does at times. However, I think that was by necessity last year (for the most part). We didn't block particularly well and we had one of the best collegiate wide receivers of the last 10 years. However, the Ohio State game was pretty rough.

This year he has really hit a nice balance. We threw 50 times against Ole Miss, but that was because we fumbled two kickoffs inside our 15 and were behind the 8 ball the whole game.

Either way, I will miss him when he leaves. We will hire a competent replacement, but he's exceeded expectations.

I'd love to find a guy like Enos. His playcalling is fantastic. I love how he keeps the other team totally guessing with his run/pass down selection.

Kiffin is Bama HCIW.

I think so too and I hope he is. He is a damn good football coach he is just young and needs to learn some discipline and hopefully that is what he is getting from Saban.

I'm of the train of thought that some people just can't learn how to be effective CEOs and that Kiffin is one of those guys. His behavior ("allegedly" but not really allegedly) in Tuscaloosa outside of the football offices is hardly that of a SEC CEO. Hey, maybe he can grow up, but he's not young anymore. I just think he's one of those guys who is a very good offensive coach but isn't very good running a program.

Kiffin is not a great football mind. He has a great football name that got him a job he shouldn't have had. He has then bounced from job to job based on history moreso than results.

See Rob and Rex Ryan.

I've been very pleased with Enos, although I think we played too fast against MSU. Our excuse is that we're really thin at RB (I think Collins is injured) and the passing game has been very good. Also, MSU has a big DL that doesn't get pushed around easy, but I still wish we'd slowed it down some.

Rob Ryan is totally overrated

Rex Ryan is a great defensive coach, that isn't really debatable. Great head coach? No, but a great defensive coach.

Whatever you want to think. Guy has been fantastic as our offensive coordinator and even better as our QB coach. You'd be a fool to not want him running your offense in Baton Rouge (see that I said OFFENSE, not PROGRAM).

I think he is a great OC but sometimes it just seems like he wants to get to fancy. Your offense has definitely been more dynamic with him taking over the play calling though. You had Cooper in some great spots last year.
