Did you really make it in '72 or did LSU make it that year and you happened to win a game against them the same season?

Actually made it.

And technically we were national champions in 2005 because if we had beaten Texas we would have won the CWS.

Same thing with 2008 football team. Only team to beat Florida so technically we were the best team in the country.

Nobody has yet to say which teams have never been.

I think every SEC team may have made it at least once. The only one I'm not sure about is Kentucky.

Kentucky was the one school I really didn't think had been but we are busting out trophies from the 50s and 70s so who knows. I say 70s cuz you know Ole Miss made a trophy for making it.

They would have won, but the go ahead run tripped over third base in the 9th to preserve lsu victory

I'd bet Miss St would have been but can't think of a year.

We've been numerous times since the 80s. 1981, 1985,1990,1997,1998,2007. We also went to CWS in 1971 and 1979

I know LSU, Bama, Arkansas, SC, Florida, and Georgia have made it just off the top of my head. Have the others never been?

Only one that hasn't been is Kentucky...although I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have gotten beaten by Stony Brook either.

We went in '72 so it's not like we've never been there before. I think we've been 4 times total.

OMAHA does stand for Ole Miss At Home Again, or is it Ole Miss Ain't Here Again?
