or should we all hope someone else knocks them off first? Honesty haven’t seen them play much, but media seems to think they can’t be stopped.

Missouri, Florida and Tennessee are the only SEC teams with respectable non-conference wins, so it's probably one of those three.

Probably right, I guess I should’ve learned by now not to listen to the sports media hype train!

Where have I heard that before about a Mark Few team? The undefeated Indiana team is the name that gets thrown around this time. I would try to keep in mind that Gonzaga is not coming out of the B1G like Bobby Knight's titans, more like something they call the WCC. As always, this time of year, I wouldn't bet the house on this one.

when bama gets hot, they can shoot anyone out of the gym

It really comes down to Petty.
JQ and Shack can find their stroke over the course of a game. With Petty, he’s ice cold (1/6) or red hot (6/8). I think it would be hard for us to beat Gonzaga without Petty scoring 15+, but I think if he met that threshold we could absolutely run them out of the gym.

Any of them. Gonzaga is beatable, there are no really great teams this year.

I don't know why Petty is so streaky but he has been cold lately, he's due.
If he were to heat up like he was in January this team can beat anyone. That game they played at LSU no one was beating them.

It does come down to Petty. He was off in the championship game and it made all the difference. He was a huge problem for LSU in the first two games.

Gonzaga is overrated anyway, Baylor is winning it all

Ive got bama forced out of the gym by UCONN.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they get knocked off by a team they’ve already played this season in their bracket.

To beat them you either have to play their game better than they do or you have to drag them down to your level and beat them with experience. Alabama and Arkansas are the only two SEC teams comfortable playing at Gonzaga's pace, and I don't think any of the other 4 are good enough to drag Gonzaga down and force them out of their comfort zone.

In what universe is Gonzaga not a great team?

I would give Alabama and Arkansas around a 10% chance - and that would require an almost perfect game.
I won't say 0% for the others, but I can't go much higher than like 2%.

If Alabama got their January hotness back at the right time and dropped 105 points on Gonzaga, it would certainly seem unlikely that they'd be able to score 100+ in return on that defense.
Like others have said, I would guess the odds of that are unlikely, but the Mississippi State game (in the SECT) at least gave me a bit of hope that they're still capable of it.
