Yeah, that's is a great option. While in college I lived on Colgate just across Wolf Penn Creek park from the mall. Route 26 goes right by. Made things so easy if we decided not to tailgate, which was rare lol.

Starkville used to be in the 20 minute range, plus walk time to car.

Times have changed with increasing crowds.

When I was there in 2007, we parked in a parking lot on campus. It took roughly 2 hours of sitting in the car to just get out of the parking lot.

I have only been to Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Oxford and Baton Rouge. They are all bad. Anytime you have 100,000 people cramped up for a football Saturday it's hard to have an efficient parking and traffic setup. Dallas was much better than the SEC venues. Pasadena looked pretty rough too.

Think about it. You have a stadium you only use a handful of time all year so why would you dedicate precious on campus real estate for parking for just those few Saturdays every Fall

Athens and Clemson are parking lots. I think Tuscaloosa, and South Carolina have the best.

SEC traffic better than Big 12 traffic.

The majority of folks say they leave because of two things: parking (it's a hike back to your car) and traffic (you can sit for hours if you leave at the wrong time).

Horrible excuses for not supporting your team

Auburn is pretty easy. Florida is moderate depending on what side you park. North is awful. South is manageable. Bama is nightmarish. LSU is awful. Georgia is bad.

Have not been recently but I think Post Oak Mall is out. I think they now use Veterans Park.

I know one thing.....do not park in the West Parking Garage. You will be there until Monday, trying to get out. ie traffic, pedestrians, Kampus Kops, etc

If you park at west go hang out at Northgate a while before attempting to leave.

All the people having trouble in Athens..especially visitors. Park downtown, hit up the bars and restaurants, by the time you get back to your car traffic is clear if you avoid the main streets like milledge, Baxter, etc

Tuscaloosa is easy to get out of if you know what you're doing. If not, may God have mercy on your soul.

What a nightmare. Easily the worst traffic setup I've ever sat in.

But if we are talking SEC...probably UGA.

Lol what? It is near I-77. There are multiple multi-lane roads leading away from the stadium. It is easy to leave.

Kentucky, shrinking the stadium, hiking the parking pass costs, and not winning mean quick ingress and egress.

Vandy, nice hotel across the street and close food sources means no need for a car.

lulz ... you just outted yourself as a sheep humping alter.

BTW - worst egress of any stadium in the country is that cow pasture fake death valley in taterville.

Getting out of W-B and back to the highways is a breeze ... you frickin sheephumper.
