So the thread could be "Which SEC game will be most important this year," right? However, you chose to look at it from the perspective of predicted blown calls. You don't find that odd?

The nature of officiating is that sometimes your team will get a bad call.

You just gotta hope that bad call doesn't cost you the game in a super important match up.

Part of being a great team is having the ability to overcome bad calls a lot of the time.

Instant replay has helped a TON though.

Bad and missed calls happen in every game. It's just part of it.

However, you seem to be saying that the refs intentionally blow a call to help a certain team in big games.

Every year there seems to be at least one blatantly obvious intentionally blown call that gets the entire college football world all riled up. Which game will it be this year?

Also, you seem to believe this will most likely happen to LSU against Bama or to Bama against A&M.

So are you saying the SEC likes A&M>Bama>LSU?

Either way... Why didn't you just say "conspiracy thread"?

Bama has a huge game with A&M.

Not that huge, it's in September, either team has time to rebound from it if it's not a blow out.

Yet another scheduling advantage adjustment for Bama.

It is huge because it's an in-division game against a major contender.

Whoever loses that game is effectively out of the West race unless the other collapses.

Even if the loser of that game wins out they'll probably be on the outside looking in (both for the SEC and BCS).

Bama only was able to get back into the mix the last few years was because other teams in front of them got upset after they lost.

Both of their regular season losses (LSU and A&M) really hurt them and put them behind the 8 ball. They just had the breaks go their way.

It's a much smarter plan to just win and not have to scoreboard watch.

JFF Getting thrown out of the game for wearing his beer helmet instead of his football helmet at some point during the season.

3 pages too late to this one...are we in agreement that LSU fans will at least claim the biggest blown call was against them.

I'm used to LSU fans bitching about the refs before a game has started, but before the season...eh i'm sure this has been addressed already, forgive my redundancy.

I can also recall a certain questionable "intentional grounding" call that resulted in a safety, giving LSU two points. While the call could have gone either way, it was too close for comfort and had it been LSU, they'd still be bitching and losing sleep over it to this day...

SCAR always, ALWAYS, get shitted-on in Athens by the refs/umps crew.

Eta: There will be fifty, minimum, blatantly blown holding calls against Clowney this year. Fifty, minimum. Which game does it happen the most? Against Georgia in Athens. Take it to the bank. They held John Abraham out the arse, they held Mo Thompson out the arse. They held Kalimba Edwards, Eric Norwood, Melvin Ingram, Clint Matthews, Devin Taylor, et al, et al, et al ... and they will hold JD Clowney in Athens a minimum of six or seven blatant times and get away with it down there, not counting the ones you might understand them missing. It will be criminal. Mark my words.
